| I'm fascinated by the holes created by ants. Although I can't see any activity I wonder about the hive of busy-ness that is possibly happening right under my feet. To me, these almost look like pig snouts! |

| I saw this and automatically my minds eye saw my brothers and I using this as the base for a shelter construction. |

| The local weather station records rainfall, temperature, wind speed and evaporation. Staff from the Gardens collect this data and sends it to the bureau of Meteorology. |

| Garden staff have created what I have called "woodhenge"; using stumps from fallen trees to make natural picnic seats or meeting places for school groups. |
